Multi-day hikes

The Arctic Circle Trail
Location: Kangerlussuaq – Sisimiut
This 160 – 180 km long, very remote trail follows in the footsteps of the Inuit and traverses the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Aasivissuit – Nipisat area.
It is suitable for experienced, multi-day hikers ONLY who have strong navigation skills, know first aid, and who carry a two-way emergency communication device with them.
Ice Ridge Trail
Location: Kangerlussuaq
A spectacular 2-day hike along the ridge above the Ice Road from the edge of the Ice Sheet at Russell Glacier to Kangerlussuaq.
It is suitable for experienced, multi-day hikers ONLY who have strong navigation skills, know first aid, and who carry a two-way emergency communication device with them.


Kangerlussuaq Ridge Trail
Location: Kangerlussuaq
A panoramic alternative to hiking the Port Road between Kangerlussuaq and Kellyville, featuring fantastic views of the airport and fjord.
It can be turned into a loop hike about half-way along.
